The Gerber Gator® GH (Gut Hook)

Combines the best features of a folding blade, including patented handles that set them apart from the competition. Gerber revolutionized knife grip technology that was introduced on the Gator® in 1991, winning Blade Magazine's Most Innovative Knife of the Year® award. The knife has a handle made of a hard inner core of glass filled polypropylene, with Santoprene® rubber molded and chemically bonded around it, essentially combining the two materials into one piece. This creates a handle that is soft and tacky when gripped, even when wet. This handle is lightweight, yet is exceptionally durable. This knife is excellent for field dressing. The Gator® GH blade is made of high carbon stainless steel, honed to a razor edge. Includes precision machined pivot pins and fasteners to allow easy one handed opening and closing of the knife.
